Effort Zero measures everything it builds against a single number, time-to-answer: how quickly a product gets you to what you came for. If a feature doesn't shorten that, it doesn't earn its place.
That standard keeps the work narrow on purpose: a few consumer apps, each built to get out of your way. The result is software you spend less time in, not more.
